The IAS Directory of Sedimentologists is a database that aims to support cooperation between sedimentologists. You can search for a colleague working on a certain topic and you can add your own data. For navigation please use the index to the left.

How to use the IAS Directory of Sedimentologists

The search page page allows you to look for people by selecting a name from the 'fly out' field. In the same way you can search for people working in a certain town or country. The 'fly out' fields contain only data from existing records. 

If you are looking for people working on certain topics or chronostratigraphic units, please mark the check boxes. The existence of check boxes does, however, not indicate that records on the respective topic already exist. Be sure to have a look at the search options at the base of the search page. After selection click the 'View Records' button. 

If you want to add your record, please fill in the form and select the appropriate check boxes. Note that 'first name' and 'family name' are required fields. Please ensure that you enter the correct spelling of email and homepage addresses. After completion, click 'Add Record'. 

If you wish to modify your record, please contact michael.rasser@paleoweb.net, he will do it for you.
